题目：Some people think secondary school students should
learn international news as one of their subjects, while others
believe that this is a waste of valuable time. Discuss both views
and give your own opinion.
解析：
一个月前的5月18号，考的是学生是否要学历史，这次又考了是否要学国际新闻。巧合的是，这两个题都是2006年的旧题。考历史的那天，小作文出了个地图题，关于火山爆发volcanic
eruption。今天这篇范文，我就把火山爆发当成了学国际新闻的一个例子。有时候写作的相通之处是很神奇的。
学国际新闻有什么用？你去看看剑5-2那篇考官范文，"中学生毕业后休学一年去工作旅游"。这俩题写起来很多词汇是差不多的。有同学觉得没话可写，你就举例子啊。你不是想出国留学吗？了解国际新闻对以后出国当然有用了。反方观点怎么写?国际新闻对于考大学和找工作都没有什么实际用途，这也是教育话题里面写得最多的东西。

和今天这个题比较接近的是剑8-1的那个题目，但今天这个题目更好写，因为我们还可以写一写媒体对孩子的影响。剑8-1那个题目我在上个月的网络课里面曾经讲过

整个5月在繁忙的外地讲座和授课中渡过了。对于雅思口语的新题目跟踪没有非常及时。终于现在有时间了，可以为我海淀口语晚班的同学们整理6月，7月，8月的雅思口语预测题了。我来晚啦。。。
各位老师的预测都是大同小异的。呵呵，如果不同，不要惊讶。就想想思路就行。
请同学们考试时千万要注意时态，用词。
注意：各位考生不要把流利作为口语的标准，考官更看重的是语调，语法和用词。雅思考试不是只用大词就能得高分，而是用词要准确。
考试中的听力也非常重要，一定要先听懂，然后回答问题。
第一和第三部分问题可以参考本书中的回答要点，例如，时态和用词。
第二部分现在卡片的内容太多了，请各位同学一定要参考27个核心卡片的内容来准备。然后把自己的答案运用到其它的卡片中。

题目：Some people believe that government money should be
spent on important things rather than arts such as painting and
music. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
解析：
此题也是雅思考试的老面孔了。在2012年5月26号、7月28号都考过，
2011年6月11号也考过，包括2004、2007年都考过这个题目。
关于政府为什么需要投资艺术，其实也就是艺术活动对于社会的价值这一点应该是大家上考场之前就有所准备的。投资其他重要的方面，无非就是社会话题里经常写的那些交通、环保、医疗等等方面。所以说，这个题目仍然是一些老生常谈的内容，非常好写。
从最近考过的题目来看，除了5月18号关于"学历史"的话题比较偏，其他都是常规话题，或者是常规素材的拼装组合。5月的考试已经全部结束，又将进入一年中最火热的培训季节。其实雅思写作的话题永远都没有改变。这个暑假，戒掉你的浮躁，抛掉你的懒惰，沉下心来，好好研究老徐雅思的范文词汇和素材，还有我为你精心挑选的那些预测题。雅思写作，分往上！
