A phenomenon which is ubiquitously seen is that many
attractions require costly entrance fees and build up numerous
souvenir shops. Some people argue that commercial management of
tourist attractions damage the culture of these memorable places,
while others allegthat only by using these scenic spots to make
more money can we protect these traditions.
Indeed, we have to admit that traditional culture has been
influenced by tourism, which has an aim of acquiring more economic
benefit. Commercial changing of traditional culture, leading to a
severedestruction. Tourism, which have a final aiming of
development of economics, makes culture changing into a tool for
earning money. For instance, some feasts or celebrations used to
hold only duringthe corresponding festival, whilst nowadays, in
order to fulfill the requirements of travelers and enhance their
attraction, locals preform nearly every day. This actions go back
on traditional culture,andculture has been commercialized.
Meanwhile, those people who originally come to get touch with the
traditional manners and customs purely, are often end with buying a
lot of souvenirs, abandoning their original aim. Furthermore, the
overdevelopment of tourist industry will lead to the invasion of
some foreign culture, consequently, have an impact on the local
costume. Generally, areas, which have several national historic
site, are always in some developing countries, with relatively
out-date economics, education, etc. When travelers who come from
some modern city show superiority complex unintentionally during
the visit, locals may feel their culture has a low level as others,
then lose heart to their traditional culture, hindering culture
heritage.In addition, too many people living in fragile
environments have lost control over their economies, their culture
and their environment when tourist has penetrated their homeland.
These can account for why excessive tourism do harm to local
culture.
The view that develop the tourism industry is the only way to
protect our costume also does makesense. First of all, obviously,
considering about other methods, such as education and publicity,
tourism is the most directly way to enhance people's consciousness
of culture preservation. Individuals will not realize the value of
their precious civilization until the culture makes a profit for
them, therefore they spend efforts to preserve their culture, which
is a fountainof the treasure. Many disappeared traditional cultures
are the result of locals' ignorance of the value. They have not
been motivated to protect and inherit their cultural. Just because
of this, some authorities of lots of ethnic cultures which is
confronting disappearance begin advocating the development of
tourism industry. Only in this way can we keep cultural diversity.
Secondly, it is undoubtedly that money is the prerequisite of the
protection of our culture and tradition. A lot of places of
historic interest collapse just because of inadequate supporting
finance to maintenance continuously. At the same time, as what has
been mentioned, cities with rich culture resources and long
histories are relatively poor, only when they earn adequate tax
income can these historical attractions be protected and inherited.
To be certain, developing tourism is the only way to make money,
and that is why tourism is a decisive element to inherit
traditional culture.
From what has been discussed above, although tourism
has made some social influence, it is a must in preservation, which
is a relatively effective and direct method. Without doubt, as long
as we can plan reasonably and refuse to pursue economic interests
blindly, culture can be well protected. Ideally, we should try our
best to protect traditional culture via a comprehensive way which
is assisted with education and media publicity.

首先感谢一下提供作文给我的两位同学，嘻嘻，谢谢啦，名字我就不提啦，保密。雅思给力走起啊。。Thanks
to the advancement of technology and economy tied to education, an
increasing number of educational approaches have been developed.
Facing such a great deal of progressive teaching methods, nowadays
traditional education mode became suspicious. Examination, a
traditional teaching method, is suffering from criticism as some
people believe that it has negative effects on students; however,
people hold divergent views regarding this issue.
Examinations have downsides and function imperfectly.
Understandably, sitting an exam is not an impeccable way for
teachers to examine students' performance, and for leaners to
acquire and apply knowledge effectively. Apart from enormous
pressure brought by taking exams, it may confront students with the
feeling of failure. If, for instance, a student does not perform
well in exams, the poor result, which could not reflect his other
abilities such as creativity, but only memory, would depress him,
thus misleading him. Furthermore, concentrating woo much on
examination, students tend to memorize concepts only and would risk
learning nothing of much use in addressing problems in this real
world.
Conceding that exams are the most effective methods to check up
the extent to which students memorize the new knowledge, many
people, nonetheless, argue that exams benefit students. Before
using new ideas and concepts to deal with problems in the real
world, a student ought to memorize the new knowledge so that he can
get a framework first. Only with the conceptual frameworks already
in position, would he be better able to utilize what he has learnt.
Meanwhile, examinations enable teachers to examine students'
memorization of new ideas and concepts, and to help students
enhance their weak parts of memorization.
Since examinations are only tools that help students
to form the knowledge frameworks, I am convinced that learners
should take appropriate exams along with practice.

昨天的考试考的地图图，参加考试的同学有一种中枪的感觉，而那些12月份准备参加考试的同学却在偷笑。其实地图题也没有那么难啊，关于城镇的变迁，就把每幅图发生的变化写出来就可以了。重点词汇句型都讲过的。今年的流程图加地图一共考过8次了，按常理来说是不会再有了。但是问题在于这些考官出题经常不按常理的。
这次的议论文应该算容易的了，你每天都在准备雅思，准备出国，让你写海外留学应该算是个福利题了。虽然留学能够更好地学习外国的语言和文化，但并非所有人都要去留学，也不是每个人都有条件的。大家想想父母为你花多少钱就明白了。此外，很多人出国以后英语其实没有太大的长进，因为本身底子不好，也不努力，难以融入当地人的圈子，而且生活上很多不便。所以这个题目还是和以前一样写成双边论证比较好。
老徐曾经说过，好的英语是学出来的，而不是在某个地方呆出来的。如果你现在不太明白这句话的意思，等你当上海归的那一天就会明白的。祝大家考试顺利，早日开启你的留学生活

海外留学有助于学习语言文化
With the increasing level of globalization, more
and more students choose to study in other countries. Some people
believe this is the best way to learn a foreign language and
culture and should be encouraged among all students. In my opinion,
this practice has great benefits, but it is unrealistic for all
people to study
abroad.
There is no doubt that speaking a foreign language
would give people an advantage in academic study and career
development. English, for example, has dominated most international
seminars, periodicals and the Internet. Most transnational
companies use English as their working language. Studying and
living in a foreign country is probably the most effective way of
learning a foreign language, which provides learners with more
exposure and more opportunities to use the language. Living
experience also contributes to their better understanding of local
customs and culture. Those with such an experience would have a
broader view of life and the world, and more importantly, become
more competitive in the job
market.
However, studying abroad may not be an ideal choice
for all people when other factors are considered. First of all,
some families cannot afford the high cost of overseas living. They
should be more realistic when planning for their future. Another
problem among many overseas students is that their language level
is too low. Some of them fail to keep up with their classmates and
some feel frustrated at the inconveniences caused by culture shocks
and language barriers. They end up spending most of time with their
compatriots and seeing no progress in their language
proficiency.
To sum up, studying abroad is undoubtedly
beneficial for people to master a foreign language and understand
the local culture. Nevertheless, it is inadvisable to go abroad
blindly and people need to get well prepared when they make such a
decision.

题目：Some people believe that young people who commit
serious crimes should be punished in the same way as adults. To
what extent do you agree or disagree?
解析：
青少年犯罪是否应该从轻处罚？也许所有的国家都是这么做的。比如前不久印度的一起关于gang
rape和murder的判决，激起了广泛的民众抗议。其中最凶残的首犯逃脱了法律惩罚，就因为他在实施犯罪时未满18岁，其实也就差几个月而已。仅凭这一点，他只需要在感化院接受不超过3年的管教。而其他同案犯却要被处以极刑。从犯罪报道来看，此人无疑是所有参与者中最邪恶的一个，"未成年"却成为了他的免死金牌，难怪印度举国抗议法律的不公。相信很多人都在说，不就差几个月吗？
青少年犯罪的话题在09年和10年都考过，以往都是考原因和解决办法，而今天考的是"是否接受和成年人同样的惩罚"。议论文要拿高分，一定要针对题目来论证，而不是照搬以前的段落。当然很多犯罪类词汇是相同的，这些词我都在以下的范文中给你做了标记。
说实话，这个题目没有太多可争议的，因为几乎所有国家都是从轻处罚，所以干脆论证从轻处罚的理由就可以了。可以先从青少年的特点来分析，好奇、缺乏自控、叛逆、不辨是非（这些都是教育话题里面的常用词），所以对于青少年应该以教育为主，因为他们一旦成年以后，很多恶行也就改过来了。其次，青少年犯罪的根源很多在于成年人，比如家庭教育、社会环境等等，所以也应该从轻处罚。这些都是我们以前写过的题目，把它整合起来就差不多了。
当然最后还是加一个小小的让步段，不能因为未成年就不惩罚，否则社会就乱套了，不要低估骚年们的破坏力啊

题目：A rise in standard of living in a country seems to
benefit cities more than rural areas. What problems might those
differences cause? How can these problems be reduced?
解析：
10月份全都是家庭和社会类的话题，上周刚考完移民去海外，这周又考城乡差距。与这个题目最接近的应该是2010年7月17号的考题：农村人口向城市流动的后果和解决办法。
很多老外眼里的中国只有北京上海。如果去广大农村地区走一走，就知道城乡差别有多大了。这种差距导致的直接后果就是农村人去城市谋生打工，希望过上好生活，于是有了后面一系列的问题。包括城里资源短缺、环境恶化、农村劳动力不足、留守家庭等等。感觉这个题目考的就是中国的问题，大家应该都有话可写吧。

题目：A rise in standard of living in a country seems to
benefit cities more than rural areas. What problems might those
differences cause? How can these problems be reduced?
解析：
10月份全都是家庭和社会类的话题，上周刚考完移民去海外，这周又考城乡差距。与这个题目最接近的应该是2010年7月17号的考题：农村人口向城市流动的后果和解决办法。
很多老外眼里的中国只有北京上海。如果去广大农村地区走一走，就知道城乡差别有多大了。这种差距导致的直接后果就是农村人去城市谋生打工，希望过上好生活，于是有了后面一系列的问题。包括城里资源短缺、环境恶化、农村劳动力不足、留守家庭等等。感觉这个题目考的就是中国的问题，大家应该都有话可写吧。

题目：Economic progress is one way to measure the success of
a country. Some people believe there are other factors. What other
factors should be considered? Which one do you think is more
important than the others?
解析：
这一个月的考题感觉似乎总是在写country和economy，让很多同学有点晕。从9月12号的工作时间长短决定国家经济成功，再到9月21号的怎样建设和谐社会，再到10月10号援助贫困国家，再到10月12号的经济成功与国家成功，看起来有点差不多，写起来也有点差不多。
相对而言今天这个题目算比较好写的，因为你可以写很多社会问题和环境问题。这两个问题当然是考前必备素材。我就不多说了，都是老套路了，把咱们那些写过无数遍的"贫富差距"、"社会福利"和"环境恶化"组装到这个题目中去吧！顺带提醒一下，此题曾经是雅思考试最早的考题之一，最近一次出现是在08年10月25日。

这也算是经典雅思考题了。根据写作机经记载，这种国际援助的题目在07年和09年曾经密集出现，甚至一年之内出现3次以上。最近一次是2010年1月9号，"慈善是否应该有国界"。此题也是我长期预警的一个老考题，在部分班级里重点讲过。
写国际援助，大家首先想到的是人道主义，看看那些非洲的营养不良的孩子，国际援助太正义太重要了。这方面大家可以写写国际形势和国家贫富不均，这样可以用到很多国际话题的词汇。那么为什么会有人反对国际援助呢？你只要想一想国内为什么很多人不愿意把钱捐给红十字会你就明白了。其实国际也是一样，援助的使用情况经常缺乏监督，真正的穷人得不到援助。国家贫困的根源很多都是政府本身的问题，越穷的国家越乱越腐败所以说，国际援助的弊端其实也是很好写的。
大家可以通过下面这篇范文了解这类话题的写法。不要以为这个题目已经考过了。这是非常经典的考题了，也是考前必备题。09年的时候，类似的题目甚至一个月考两回！！
