题目：Because of traffic and housing problems in the
cities，the government encourages business to move to
the rural area. Do you think the advantages outweigh the
disadvantages?



解析：


把企业和公司从城市搬到农村的好处和弊端。这个题目去年8月16号考过，几乎是一样的考题。
关于房价和交通，我们可以来分析一下。市区人多（large population），土地资源少（land
resources），如果把企业搬到农村（be
relocated），那么市区人口少了，对房子的需求（demand）就会减少，住房短缺和房价太贵的问题应该能解决一些。至于交通，人都少了，那么每天在市里面坐车上下班的人肯定减少（travel
to and from work），交通自然就改善了（reduce the
traffic）。把企业搬去郊区的另一个好处就是能够促进郊区经济的发展（boost the local
economy），缩小城乡差距（narrow the gap between the urban and rural
area）。



那么这么做的弊端是什么呢？让你从市中心搬去农村你乐意么？为什么不乐意？因为农村的基础设施落后（backward
infrastructure），生活不方便（inconvenient），人们再也享受不到市区的优质教育资源（high quality
educational resources）、医疗服务（medical services）和娱乐设施（entertainment
facilities）。而且公司也不一定乐意搬，搬到郊区会影响生意，因为大部分客户可能都在市区。为什么那么多公司都不惜血本驻扎在高逼格的国贸、中关村、金融街？如果都搬到了六环以外，房租是便宜了，还会有顾客来么？



我的结尾写的是，办法有一定效果，市区人口会减少，交通也会减少，房价应该会下降，但搬迁的这个办法不太容易实施（difficult to
implement），因为很多公司和员工可能不愿意搬去郊区。

题目：Some people prefer to provide help or support directly
to the local community, while others think we should donate aid to
national or international charitable organizations. Discuss both
views and give your own opinion.



解析：


国际援助的话题上一次考试是在2013年的10月10号，今天这个题目稍稍变了一下提问的角度，但是写出来的内容是差不多的。虽然我在13年的时候曾经写过一篇了，但是今天再重新写一次，大家也可以看看我是怎样根据不同的题目来改装素材，让素材更加扣题的。



援助为什么要捐给慈善机构，因为慈善机构能够帮到最需要的人（people in the greatest
need）。如果只给本社区的话，那么非洲的那些穷人怎么办？全世界大多数的慈善机构都在美国这样的发达国家，如果美国的慈善机构只帮助本社区，那么非洲的穷人就没人管了。尤其是发生了战争或者自然灾害的时候（emergency），本社区的人怎么帮自己呢？是不是还需要其他地区援助？



那么甲方的观点怎么写呢?
捐助给本社区的理由可以写援助更加直接有效，能够节约运输的成本。最重要的是，很多人想知道自己的捐助都去了哪里（how the
donation is distributed），是不是被那些慈善机构的官员或者政府官员挪用了（be
appropriated）？如果那样的话真正的穷人就得不到援助了。（have no access to aid）



最后的个人观点，应该平等对待那些需要帮助的人，援助应该给到那些最需要援助的人（reach those in a desperate
situation）。同时，慈善机构还要改进对援助的监督和分配（improve the distribution and
supervision of the aid），确保有需要的人能够获得援助。



我这篇文章写得非常通俗易懂。你可能会发现，对于某些看似有点难的社会话题，只要你听过课，练过一些题目，积累了相关的素材，其实是不难写的。

王陆老师英国雅思考试之旅。

已经两个月过去了，终于有时间整理一下自己出国考雅思的思路了。（这样的旅行适合一直雅思单科不过的学生，还有就是能出国顺便考雅思的人）我也是正好去英国玩，所以考了雅思。这个与钱多少没有关系，关键是你是否需要出国考试。因为不一定就成功呢。写下来这个内容，给有需要的烤鸭看一下吧。做个参考也好啊。

而是在中国这片热土，考官总不给我过的机会

直到有一天我遇到陆陆

她悄悄告诉我

去英国考吧

在英伦风的熏陶下，那里的考官也很NICE，同样水平，口语和写作万一提高0.5到1分喔




首先，要在两个月前报名，以免名额没有，所以要提前准备呀，不然签证可能都有问题呢。

下面是官方的信息。

早晨7点半起床,因为英国考点8点15-9点15进场,

住的很近,走路十五分钟就到了。

要携带自己的护照，2寸护照照片，然后进入考场签到

之后就要进入考场了。




这个就是签到处，排队的人不是很多，在中国考场人山人海的情况并没有出现，王陆老师还与陪考的学生聊了聊才进去签到的。之后就领到了一个Visitor
Car,
访客卡，然后挂在脖子上可以进入候考区。




候考区的环境很好吧。之后有老师叫你,然后考生要放好自己的外衣,书包,然后进入护照拍照审核区.之后就不让拍照了。所以没有照片啦。


大家都很从容淡定，没有人着急的。考试在10点正式开始，当然，也可能晚些，因为设备的问题。

多亏早晨吃的多，不然真的感觉饿啊。英国人这个时间真是不一样的啦。



英国一般口语考试为周六下午，或第二周的周三。



所以要提前预留出口语考试的时间。

王陆老师是下午2点半的口语，所以考完试没有出考场，就留在候考区等待口语考试了。口语考试考官很好，很有耐心。所以能让考生发挥出最好的水平。


我们那次考试拖了很久，所以没法出去吃饭了，多亏我书包有面包啊、









我们这次全楼只有72人考雅思，服务特别好。下面要展示陆陆英国雅思考试成绩，准备好看清楚啦，其实写作口语都很一般啦。因为毕竟我27号晚间到的英国，28一早就去考试，基本没睡觉，嘎嘎。。（找借口啦，其实这两科我就是不好）







你没有看错喔，阅读满分喔，一个教听力的老师阅读也是满分，让教阅读的老师情何以堪，嘻嘻。重点看写作和口语喔，每科整整提高0.5分啦。我们飘洋过海一下下，两科瞬间提高0.5分是非常值得了，在国内你再挑灯夜战也未必就过那0.5分的坎啦。

话说这个龙虾真心好吃，还有这个面包，为了点这个面包，我们吃了N多的东西。因为没有菜单，没法点，后来发现这个叫brioche,又多学了一个吃。这个是我吃过最好吃的面包，没有之一。去英国唯一后悔的一件事情就是在离开的前一天才吃这个。早知道这么好吃，就多吃几顿了。。20镑一份龙虾，超级美味，和韩国拌饭一个价格。。






上次去英国特别不喜欢，我觉得可能是没有静下心来享受吧。这次虽然就待了7天，但是特别高兴。好羡慕要去英国留学的同学们，可以慢慢的品位这个国家的文化，生活。加油，去感受一下吧。祝所有的同学都心想事成！！！

题目：Many countries believe that international tourism has
harmful effects. Why do they think so? What can be done to change
their views?



解析：


旅游话题已经有很长时间没有考过，所以我在上周5.29公益课里把它列为了近期的高危话题，并且举了一个保护古建筑的例子，这个例子我把它稍稍改装了一下，用到了今天这个题目当中。



旅游的话题虽然以前考过，但是考官每次出题都会变换提问的角度，所以你要仔细审题，并且合理地改装老徐提供的素材。这个题的本质是什么呢？题目有两个问题。第一问就是发展国际旅游的弊端，第二问就是强调国际旅游的好处。弄清了题目的本质，这个题是不是变得简单了？



国际旅游的弊端包括：破坏文物和环境（the potential damage to the cultural relics and
local environment）。我举了一个老建筑的例子，老建筑有历史价值（historical value），传承了几百年（be
passed on for hundreds of
years）。如果外国游客大量涌入，可能会有损坏的风险。另外还有游客的不文明行为（improper
behavior），比如扔垃圾和涂鸦（littering or graffiti） ，所以很多国家认为国际旅游有弊端。


还有一个很常用的论据就是文化差异。这是咱们在国际类和文化类话题中提到过的。比如有些少数族群的文化（minority
groups）可能会被同化（be assimilated）。此外，一些外国游客在去其他国家参观的时候缺乏对本地文化的尊重（lack
respect），容易导致误解和冲突（lead to misunderstanding or
conflict）。今天有报导说有人在故宫拍模特裸照（我给这篇范文的配图）。这算不算对当地文化和文物的不尊重呢？这个例子今天刚刚发生，咱们就不写到文章里去了。不要问我"拍裸照"的英文怎么说啊，你们都应该知道的



这个题目的第二问其实就是发展国际旅游的好处：我列举一下：增加收入（increase the revenue），创造就业（create
jobs）促进经济（boosted the economy）. 门票收入可以用于维护景点（maintain the
historical sites and scenic
spots）。另外，怎样解决某些国家对于游客行为的担忧呢，可以加强监督（strengthen the
monitoring），给不文明游客严厉惩罚（give them strict punishment if they violate
the rules）。英语里面没有"文明游客"的说法，你看看老徐是怎么表达这个意思的。
