题目：Nowadays, many people do not feel safe either when they
are at home or go out. What are the reasons and what can be done to
solve this problem?
解析：
上个礼拜考的是青少年犯罪，这个礼拜考的是人们缺乏安全感的原因和办法，你说这是为什么捏？考官故意的呗，因为他知道你不会再去准备犯罪的话题了
有同学问，感觉不安全的原因能不能写环境污染或者食品有毒？似乎也能解释得通。不过我还是选择了写犯罪率和交通事故，这两项应该是最扣题的。如果写其他内容的话，只要解释得合理，加上语言质量还行，应该也能拿个不错的分数。
第一个原因，某些社区治安太差（poor situation of law and order），盗窃抢劫普遍（theft and
robbery），这几种简单的犯罪应该还是能写出来吧？所以人们很害怕（scared）。还有就是道路事故高发（high
incidence of road accidents），每年很多人因为交通事故而死亡或者受伤，这些词应该都没有问题吧？
另外还写了一个原因，是我在近期高危话题里面特别强调的媒体话题，可以把那些素材词汇拿一些过来用。媒体往往会夸大负面新闻（overstate
negative reports），而在网上坏消息总是传播得特别快（spread very fast）。如果人们总接触负面新闻（be
exposed to，这个词上个礼拜的范文刚刚用过，还认识么），他们可能会缺乏安全感（lack the sense of
security）。（那些天天上网看社会新闻的人，是不是都变得愤世嫉俗了？你们就不能看看新闻联播，感受一下正能量么？）
解决办法其实也是犯罪话题里面写过的，包括打击犯罪（combat crimes），增加警察数量（increase the number
of policemen），安装更多摄像头（install more cameras），对那些企图犯罪（intend to
commit crimes）的人起到震慑效果（have a deterrent
effect）。关于道路安全，写的是提高安全意识（raise the awareness of road
safety），遵守交通法规（obey the traffic law）。最后，媒体的报导应该公平客观（unbiased and
objective），让人们对生活环境建立起信心（build confidence）。
这样的社会话题是最考验你的综合能力的，这个题目综合了犯罪、交通和媒体方面的素材和词汇，大家记得把它们背下来。后面还会考到的哦，你信不信？

题目：In many countries, a high proportion of criminal acts
are committed by teenagers. What are the reasons and what do you
suggest to solve this problem？
解析：
今年4月25号刚刚考完青少年犯罪，结果6月18号又考这个。你说这是为什么？考官故意的呗，因为他知道你不会再准备这个话题了不过这个题目与其说是犯罪话题，还不如说是教育话题。从原因到办法，几乎全都是教育话题的词汇和素材。
我写了两个原因，一个是家庭教育，一个是媒体暴力，全都是我在预测班里讲过的素材。第一个原因，父母宠爱（be
spoilt），更好的物质生活（better material
life），叛逆（rebellious），与坏人交往（associate with bad
people），由于缺乏正确的指导（right guidance），有些人误入歧途（go astray），成为了犯罪分子（become
criminals）。属于教育话题里面的行为问题的素材。
第二个原因，媒体暴力（media violence）。很多青少年爱看动作片和玩电子游戏，如果接触太多暴力的话（be exposed
to too much violence），可能让青少年崇尚或者模仿暴力（admire and imitate
violence），导致犯罪（commit crimes）。
解决办法主要的是改善家庭教育。父母应该承担更多责任（take more responsibilities for children's
behavior）。老师应该让学生在学校遵守纪律（obey the rules），学生毕业以后才会遵守法律（abide by the
law）。最后还需要采取措施让青少年无法接触网上的不良内容。以上几乎全是教育话题里面的素材。
也许你认为青少年犯罪的题目接下来不会再考了，但我可以告诉你，上面这些词汇和素材你好好背一背，接下来考试一定还能在其他话题里面用上的。

这篇作文是我的学生写的，他的雅思成绩写作一直是7或7.5，可惜口语一直是6.5，烤鸭们好好看看他的作文，确实写的特别好。这是一篇极好的作文。
Thanks to the
advancement of technology andeconomy tied to
education, an increasing number ofeducational approaches have been
developed. Facing such a great deal ofprogressive teaching methods,
nowadays traditional education mode becamesuspicious. Examination,
a traditional teaching method, is suffering fromcriticism as some
people believe that it has negative effects on students;however,
people hold divergent views regarding this issue.
Examinations have
downsides and functionimperfectly. Understandably, sitting an exam
is not an impeccable way forteachers to examine students'
performance, and for leaners to acquire and applyknowledge
effectively. Apart from enormous pressure brought by taking exams,
itmay confront students with the feeling of failure. If, for
instance, a studentdoes not perform well in exams, the poor result,
which could not reflect hisother abilities such as creativity, but
only memory, would depress him, thusmisleading him. Furthermore,
concentrating woo much on examination, studentstend to memorize
concepts only and would risk learning nothing of much use
inaddressing problems in this real world.
Conceding that exams
are the most effectivemethods to check up the extent to which
students memorize the new knowledge,many people, nonetheless, argue
that exams benefit students. Before using newideas and concepts to
deal with problems in the real world, a student ought tomemorize
the new knowledge so that he can get a framework first. Only with
theconceptual frameworks already in position, would he be better
able to utilizewhat he has learnt. Meanwhile, examinations enable
teachers to examinestudents' memorization of new ideas and
concepts, and to help students enhancetheir weak parts of
memorization.
Since examinations are
only tools that helpstudents to form the knowledge frameworks, I am
convinced that learners shouldtake appropriate exams along with
practice.
