题目：Employers should give its staff at least four
weeks of holidays a year to make employees do better in their jobs.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
解析：
休假的好处是什么？就是不用上班。休多长的假期最合适？当然是越多越好。这也许是所有人的想法。各个国家的休假规定都不一样，据说最长的是巴西，每年休假天数能够达到40天以上，包括年假和法定假。在这方面，我们严重地落后于世界平均水平。中国每年的法定假一共11天，也就是五一国庆春节等等，看看那几天举国欢腾的气氛，就知道我们有多么缺乏带薪假期了。
这个题目出得有点太技术性了，是否应该休4周的假期？这个是不算法定节日和周末的。这个长度应该不短了。其实就是问你，给员工多放点假好不好？如果从个人角度来说，那当然是相当好了，包括放松身心、缓解压力、多陪家人、增强家庭凝聚力，还有参加培训班给自己充电等等。（have
more time to travel，spend more time with their families，relieve
pressure，enhance family cohesion，attend training courses）
光这一个好处估计字数会不够，所以写到了对于公司的长远发展也有好处（long-term
development）。文章第三段主要使用的是让步反驳的论证方法。有人认为多休假会增加用人成本（increase labor
cost，spend more money on human resources）、影响正常运营（affect normal
operation），反驳的理由是员工的福利改善之后（improve their welfare），他们的满意度提高了（enhance
their satisfaction），他们会更加积极主动地为公司服务（have more motivation to serve
the company better）。在雅思的作文里，我们总是把人想得非常善良和美好
这是一个工作方面的话题，但也是一个新题，关键还是把工作话题里的常用论据重新进行组合。

题目：In many countries today, both men and women need to work
full time. Therefore, some people think men and women should share

解析：
很多年没有考到两性平等的话题了，2011年曾经考到过3回此类话题。这个题目到底是同意还是不同意？倾向于女性负责家务还是男女分摊家务？估计男女考生的看法会有分歧。我倒建议大家写男女分摊家务，这样也许能够博得某些女考官的好感呢。
当然要拿高分还得靠你本身的语言水平。我们来分析一下这篇文章的写法。总论点：男人应该更多地参与家务，但不是简单地平分家务。本文的重点是论述男人做家务的合理性。列举了两个理由：1.
有利于消除就业歧视eliminate gender discrimination in the
workplace.因为很多女人被家务所累，结果影响了事业发展，在找工作时处于不利地位。Be in a disadvantageous
position 2. 有利于孩子教育。女人似乎天生适合带孩子，因为她们温柔体贴gender
and considerate，但是如果孩子缺乏父爱，可能会导致性格缺陷lead to deficiency in their

每周都有同学让我给他们搞个预测。尽管我一再说明预测是不可靠的，最好的办法是将各类话题都准备一下，比如教育、科技、环境、政府投资等等。但是同学们都说题目实在太多了，不知准备哪几个。所以我就弄了这么一个5-8月份的写作题目精选，供大家复习使用。希望能够通过尽量少的题目，覆盖尽可能多的话题范围。
说实话，就某月某日的考试来说，写作是无法预测的。但是在某个时间段内，我们可以将写作的一些重点题目划分一些出来，有针对性地进行准备。这份所谓的"写作预测"，其实就是一个供大家做练习的话题范围，有点类似于期末考试之前的划重点吧。
每周考试之后我都会将题目进行解析，然后写成范文放在博客里。有同学问我那么多考试范文怎么使用。我在置顶帖子里做了话题分类，大概有十类左右。http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_657b1b150100kq5x.html 你可以根据出题频率从每类话题中选取一些范文来看，主要是摘取里面的写作素材和词汇表达。这些范文不是让你去背诵，而是为大家提供一个很大的写作语料库。这些范文都进行了系统的分类，都是通俗易懂的语言素材，适合大家平时复习和考试使用。
