小作文线图，一共两条线，比较简单。

大作文：In many countries women are allowed to take maternity leave
during the first months from their jobs after the birth of their
baby. Do advantages outweigh its disadvantages?





题目解析：

这道题看似新题，其实属于生活话题的一种，而且会用到一些男女平等话题的素材。

好处可以写：女性员工享有自己的权利，可以在家照顾和陪伴孩子，有利于孩子的成长，也体现了公司对员工的关心。

弊端可以写：增加了公司的用人成本，员工休假期间可能很多工作没有人去做，或者需要找人代替。女员工休产假可能会影响到自己的职业发展，导致职场的性别歧视。某些公司可能会在招聘的时候拒绝女性员工。

中文素材： 在工作单位招收同样数量的男性和女性员工能够促进性别平等。在有些公司，老板更愿意招聘男员工，因为人们认为女员工往往要做更多的家务，可能会影响她们的职业发展。但是，在招聘的时候拒绝女性是不公平的。因此，虽然雇佣同样数量的男性和女性员工似乎没有必要，但是它能够有助于消除工作中的性别歧视。
英文素材： Recruiting the equal number of male and female employees
can promote gender equality
in the workplace.
In some companies, the employers are more willing to hire male
employees. This is because that people believe females tend to have
more housework to do, which may affect their career development. However, it is unfair to reject females in the job market.
Therefore, hiring the equal number of male and female
employees seems to be unnecessary, but it would help to
eliminate gender discrimination
in the workplace.
