题目：Nowadays, there are
many television advertisements aimed at children. What are the
effects of these advertisements on children? Should TV
advertisements be controlled?

广告话题是考前必备题，平均每年2-3次。相关词汇和素材在课堂上都有总结。考试的时候务必看清楚题目，不要写跑了题。这个题目是关于儿童广告的。除了广告本身的误导（misleading）和诱惑（tempting）以外，还可以加上一些儿童方面的词汇和素材。比如孩子比较好奇（curious），缺乏自控能力（self-control），缺乏判断能力（make
the right
judgment），容易受到广告的影响。而一些广告商品，比如垃圾食品、电子游戏等等，对于孩子的身心健康（physical and
mental
health）都有不利影响。至于怎么样去控制电视广告，当然主要靠政府，政府需要加强对广告行业的监督和管理（strengthen the
supervision and
management）。同时家长也需要多关心孩子，控制孩子看电视的时间，让孩子尽量少接触广告（decrease their
exposure to advertisements）。
