题目：Some people think that the amount of noise people make
should be strictly controlled, while others say that people are
free to make as much noise as they wish. Discuss both views and
give your opinion.






解析：


此题属于环境类话题。虽然在口语考试中经常考到噪音问题，但在写作考试中还是第一次出现。这个题目切记不要写得科学化（那样你就写不出来了），而应该把它写得生活化。什么叫科学化？你会写"分贝"这个词的英文吗？



以下是本文的思路和词汇：


正方：支持控制噪音。可以写噪音对于身体的危害（have harmful effects on people's health and
behavior）。这样的例子太好写了，包括不能专注于学习和工作（cannot focus on their work and
study），还有晚上吵得睡不着觉（cannot fall asleep in the evening due to
noise），所以需要确保人们不被噪音干扰（without being disturbed by
noise）。多么简单的英文啊！



反方：人们有制造噪音的自由。这里主要写噪音的好处，或者生产生活中不可避免的噪音。比如建筑工地的噪音（construction
site），有了噪音才能把房子建起来（be
erected）。在机场、在工厂，噪音都是不可避免的（unavoidable），都是为人们服务的（noise is made in
the interest of the general public）。即使是搞聚会（have a
party）制造噪音，那不也是for fun么？所以不应该限制人们的自由。



个人观点：生活在完全没有噪音的世界是不现实的（unrealistic），但是我们需要消除不必要的噪音。应该让制造噪音的人（noise-makers）多替别人着想（consider
others），而且科技的发展也能够减少噪音（现在的家用电器不都宣传低噪音么？）



大家在考雅思的时候有没有被噪音干扰过呢？有时候旁边的同学哗哗地翻卷子，你有没有很讨厌那种哗哗的声音，"尼玛我后面还有多少页没做呢？"
